My Mentorship Offerings

Sometimes we get it pretty close to right in camera, sometimes we have things we love about a photo but finding it's magic needs a bit of help in post processing. I'm here to help with both sides of the equation.

I share, both over video/in person and via extensive PDF guide, my behind-the-scenes knowledge for both shooting the best possible images in camera AND my complete editing process. During our zoom or in-person meeting, we will go through editing 1 or 2 of my photos, and at least one of your own together. I will answer all questions, holding no information back, and provide you with an excellent foundation to build upon.

*Please note that there are several purchased tools (Greater than Gatsby actions and presets) I use that are indispensable to my style. These beautiful tools are made by other creators and I highly suggest purchasing them before mentoring with me. If you're interested in the possibility of my mentorship, I'm happy to provide you with a list with links for these tools.

At both my mentorship levels, I offer focuses in the following areas, depending on what you're most interested in learning (I do need to be let know before our zoom meeting to have materials prepared):

• GENERAL: I'll give your a thorough overview of my shooting processes for both indoor and outdoor shooting, and my post processing approach for each. I will briefly go over how I occasionally utilize generative fill in this one as well, if desired.
• INDOOR: I will focus specifically on how I utilize natural light indoors and create artful, low light environments no matter what natural light you have on hand (as long as you have some!). I'll do full edits of two of my indoor pieces (you can choose which ones!)
• OUTDOOR: I will focus on how I shape light and create depth outdoors, and how I use post processing to enhance the magical, storytelling feel.
• GENERATIVE FILL: I get lots of questions about how I utilize generative fill in Photoshop (to be clear, I use it only occasionally). For this focus, I'll go through my process, what I avoid, and how to use it generally to enhance the compositional power of work.
